Our Participation at COP29

11-22 November, 2024/Baku, Azerbaijan
SustainSphere was invited to speak at COP29 by Food Nation Denmark in collaboration with UN Foundation, The Danish Agriculture and Food Council. The event followed the success of COP28’s “Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action.” This event explored how to accelerate global food system decarbonisation through the perspectives and realities of the Global Majority and Global North stakeholders.

It Showcase how farmers, climate finance experts like IFAD, and youth leaders are driving climate-smart agriculture and innovative solutions that empower the agricultural and food production sectors to effectively address the climate crisis. Their efforts demonstrate practical pathways toward resilience and sustainability.

Participation at COP16

2-13 December, 2024/Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
At COP16 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we actively participated in a variety of events focused on desertification, land degradation, and restoration. We attended panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, engaging with global leaders, environmental experts, and policymakers. These interactions allowed us to exchange ideas, explore innovative strategies for combating desertification, and stay updated on the latest research and technologies in sustainable land management.

In addition to participating in these sessions, we were honored to speak at several high-profile events. Our presentations emphasized the importance of community engagement, policy advocacy, and scientific research. By sharing our experiences and success stories, we aimed to inspire collaboration and contribute to the global fight against desertification.
